Christ Church, Rockaway, NJ | September 19th - 20th

Collyde Summit is a gathering of passionate believers in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area, who love Jesus and are convicted to become world changers.

Brought to you in partnership with:

2014 Theme: Overcome

“In this world you will have many trials and sorrows but
take heart, I have overcome the world” — John 16:33

Your story is an "Overcome" story. And you are in good company. Abraham waited 25 years to see one promise come to life. Moses wandered the wilderness for 40 years before seeing the burning bush. Joseph sat in a prison for 13 years for a crime he did not commit. David hid in caves for 10 years waiting to be king. Esther was an orphan girl who was forced to give up her rights for the promise of an uncertain future. Jesus endured the cross even though He was sinless. Stories of greatness are often woven with strands of heartache, loss and suffering. We call them "Overcome" Stories.

What does "Overcome" mean in your life? Overcome is about looking beyond your circumstances and trials to Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith. God is authoring a unique story in you and He knows all the intimate details and promises to use everything — all the pain and tough moments in this life — for good. God uses hardships to build character, challenges to create dependence, obstacles to ignite faith and suffering to establish identity. Going through the process creates stronger Christ-followers - a better leader, a more dedicated spouse or a more committed servant.

We are not discouraged when we are hard pressed on every side, rather we embrace it because Jesus said "In this world you will have trials and sorrows, but take heart because I have overcome the world." He promised HE has overcome the world. When we identify ourselves as belonging to Him, as Christ followers, we can be assured that we too will overcome because we are hidden in Him. It is through Him that we are overcomers.

Welcome to Collyde Summit 2014!

Each year, over 30,000 individuals attend nine annual Catalyst events.

Through the Catalyst Podcast, Lomenick has had the opportunity to interview the nation's greatest leaders including Malcolm Gladwell, Seth Godin, Francis Chan, Tony Dungy, Andy Stanley, Rick Warren, Marcus Buckingham, Dave Ramsey and Bill Hybels, among others.

In addition to being a well-respected leader, Lomenick writes and speaks about leadership, the next generation, creativity, innovation, social media, teamwork and personal growth. His debut book, The Catalyst Leader, released in April 2013, from Thomas Nelson.

Prior to leading Catalyst, Brad spent five years involved in the growth of the nationally acclaimed Life@Work Magazine and did management consulting with Cornerstone Group.

A natural-born leader since elementary school, Lomenick is an outdoorsman who loves golfing and hunting. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, he worked at Lost Valley Ranch in the Colorado Mountains, eventually being promoted to ranch foreman in charge of managing 150 horses, 200 head of cattle, 100 guests and 50 employees. Today, he counts the four years the ranch thrived under his leadership as one of his life's biggest accomplishments.

Even though he's an Oklahoma boy at heart, Lomenick currently lives in Atlanta.

www.Vanderbloemen.com

William has been able to combine over 15 years of ministry experience as a Senior Pastor with the best practices of Executive Search to provide churches with a unique offering: a deep understanding of local church work with the very best knowledge and practices of professional executive search.

Prior to his founding The Vanderbloemen Search Group, William studied executive search under a mentor with over 25 years of executive search at the highest level. His learning taught him the very best corporate practices, including the search strategies used by the internationally known firm Russell Reynolds.

William also has experience as a Manager in Human Resources in a Fortune 200 company, where he focused on integration of corporate culture and succession planning.

All of these experiences have come together with his pastoral work to form a unique gift for helping churches and ministries connect with the right key people.

Prior to executive search, William led growth and innovation in churches in North Carolina, Alabama, and Houston. During his time in Alabama, William had the chance to help rebuild and relocate an ailing congregation, and lead them to new levels of growth. At 31, he was elected Senior Pastor for the First Presbyterian Church of Houston, a church of about 5000 adults and 1500 children strong. It is Houston's oldest congregation.

William is regularly invited to speak across the country in both church services and as a resource to churches and conferences on leadership. His book Next: Pastoral Succession That Works on effective pastoral leadership and succession will be released through Baker Books in September 2014.

William holds degrees from Wake Forest University and Princeton Theological Seminary.

Besides helping connect churches with key staff and preaching, William spends a whole lot of time with family, and connecting with people.

William is an avid social networker. Whether connecting with friends, candidates for searches he is doing, or church members, he loves to network, and he would love to interact with you through Facebook and/or Twitter

William, his wife Adrienne, their seven children, and their two poodles (one small who thinks she's big, and one big who thinks he is a lap dog) live in Houston. In his free time, William enjoys running, working out, and caddying for his kids, who are now better golfers than he is.
